REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals)
REACH is a regulatory framework established to ensure the safe entry of chemicals
into the EU market and their responsible use.
Designed to safeguard human health and environmental safety,
it enhances corporate innovation while advancing sustainable societal development.
All cover materials produced by ACTIVA undergo rigorous REACH compliance testing,
upholding the highest standards of safety and sustainability for global markets.

RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances)
RoHS is a mandatory EU regulation formally titled
"Directive on the Restriction of the Use of Certain Hazardous Substances
in Electrical and Electronic Equipment."
Enforced since July 1, 2006, it regulates materials and manufacturing processes
for electrical and electronic products to safeguard human health and the environment.
The directive aims to eliminate six hazardous substances:
lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyls (PBBs),
and polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDEs), with cadmium content strictly limited to ≤0.01%.
All MUSE THERMO PU products fully comply with RoHS standards.

California Proposition 65 (CA65)
Formally known as the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986,
Proposition 65 was enacted in November 1986 to protect California residents
and the state’s drinking water sources from chemicals known to cause cancer,
birth defects, or other reproductive harm.
It mandates public notification when such substances are present and regulates
over 700 listed chemicals identified as carcinogenic or reproductively toxic.
Products including MUSE THERMO PU and Tiramisu Microfiber Collection
comply with CA65 standards, ensuring safety and transparency for consumers.

FSC (Forest Stewardship Council)
The Forest Stewardship Council is a non-governmental,
non-profit organization founded in 1993 by global advocates committed to halting deforestation.
Dedicated to promoting socially responsible forest management worldwide,
FSC certification (also known as timber certification) serves as a market-driven tool to advance
sustainable forestry practices, balancing ecological, social, and economic goals.
Products including the MUSE THERMO PU Permeable Series
and PATRIX Creative Covering Materials (paper-based lines) comply with FSC certifications,
reflecting our commitment to ethical sourcing and environmental stewardship.

GRS Certification (Global Recycled Standard)
The Global Recycled Standard (GRS) is an environmental certification targeting sustainable practices
across supply chains. It evaluates the entire product lifecycle
—from design and raw material sourcing to production, logistics, sales, and recycling
—to ensure that packaging or components can be recycled and reused post-consumption,
minimizing waste and safeguarding ecosystems.
Customers can customize MUSE PRO ®GRS THERMO PU that meets GRS standards, and PATRIX flocking product series provides customized products that meet GRS standards.

Bio-Based Materials
Bio-based materials are innovative substances derived from renewable biomass
—including crops, legumes, agricultural residues (e.g., straw), bamboo/wood fibers,
and animal byproducts
—processed through biological, chemical, or physical methods.
Characterized by their eco-friendly nature, renewable sourcing, and biodegradability,
these materials align with sustainable development goals.
The MUSE PRO® Series features bio-based thermo PU products,
showcasing a commitment to innovation and ecological responsibility.

USDA BioPreferred® Certification
Managed by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA),
the USDA BioPreferred® Program certifies products containing verified percentages of
renewable biological ingredients.
The label provides transparent data on bio-based content,
offering consumers a trustworthy benchmark for sustainable choices.
This initiative aims to boost economic growth, create jobs,
and open new markets for agricultural resources.
By increasing the development and use of bio-based products,
it reduces reliance on petroleum, enhances renewable resource utilization,
and mitigates environmental and health risks.
The MUSE PRO® Bio-Based Color-Shifting PU Series is certified under the USDA BioPreferred® Program, showcasing leadership in eco-innovation and responsible manufacturing.

Antimicrobial Product Certification
Certified by Japan’s SIAA
(Society of International Sustaining Growth for Antimicrobial Articles),
CLEAWAY® Antimicrobial Color-Shifting Leather eliminates 99.9% or more of surface
